This is eveyone's favorite dish I make.
Everyone meaning : friends, family , kids and coworkers. My coworkers actually get very upset if I don't bring this to our pot lucks.
Take 1 1/2 pounds ground beef(browned) 1 large jar of salsa(I use medium cuz you lose some flavor when cooking) 1 small can refried beans 1 large bag of shreeded cheddar cheese 1 package of flour burrito sized tortillas.
Layer in 13 x9 inch pan start with salsa(keeps from sticking or burning to bottom) then tortilla then beans spread on tortill then beef then salsa then cheese then tortilla bean beef salsa then cheese(always end on cheese)
Bake at 350 for 45-60 mins
Serve with sour cream and tortillas chips

That sounds really yummy! It reminds me of this recipe that I have made with chicken. I think ground beef would be easier though because you don't have to shred it.

Corn or flour tortillas 1 lb. Velveeta 1 can cream of chicken soup 1 can ro-tell tomatoes, drained 1 whole chicken, boiled, deboned and chopped and broth reserved. 1 onion, chopped (optional) Cheddar cheese, grated (optional)
Mix Velveeta, soup and tomatoes in saucepan or microwave until cheese is mostly melted. Dip tortillas in chicken broth. Put layer of tortillas in 9x9 inch casserole dish, then layer of chicken and onion. Pour some sauce over first layer. Continue layering until you have about 3 layers. Top with sauce and add grated cheese. Bake at 350 for 30 minutes. (Jalapenos, sour cream and guacamole can go on top before serving.) Serves 6
