Hi, My name is Lynn. Just got diagnosed with PCOS on Thursday, June 9th. I have been married for 9 years and off birth control for 8 years. We haven't been trying to get pregnant but we haven't been not trying either. I am just glad that I finally have an answer as to why I haven't been pregnant. I am waiting on my blood work to come back from my doctor. I am not sure what meds he will put me on, but look forward to maybe one day having my own little bundle of joy!

Hello everyone, My name is Lonna, I am 27 years old. I was diagnosed with PCOS when I was 17 years old. I am married and have one Son, Brennan. He is 2 1/2 years old. I only have cycles maybe 1 or 2 times a year. My OBGYN, said she was impressed that I got pregnant so easily. I think, it must have been God. I have been with my husband for 10 years. It took 8 before we got "lucky" enough, and had Brennan. Now I know what I've been missing and we are considering #2. Well I'm sure I want another, but my husband is affraid. Brennan was born premature at 28 weeks gestation, and had a long (almost 3 month, liking a few days) hospital stay. We are very blessed that he has suffered no, long lasting problems from his prematurity. In combination to PCOS, I have incompetent cervix. So I worry a little as well. I hope to get to know a lot of you, and I am so glad I finally found a group that understand what I have been going through for over a decade.
Talk to yall soon.
Lonna #happydance#

Welcome! Lonna - we have several preemie moms here (including me) We have a preemie forum too - although it has been pretty quiet because all of us here are pretty much past the "preemie stage" - but we all have the same concerns about #2 I think
