We have this cool new instructor at our local craft store that has been giving classes on making paper bag albums. So far I've made an autumn one, a Christmas one and a winter one (just finished that one on Friday). You make small scrapbook pages (I think they are about 6 x 6, maybe less) and then when you're done, you glue them on to folded (in half) small/medium paper bags. Half of the pages have the openings of the paper bags to put more pictures or momentos in them. They are fastened together with ring binders (sounds weird, I know) which have SEVERAL ribbons tied to them (so you can barely see the ring binders) ... and the Christmas and winter ones had jingle bells tied to some of the ribbons. They are REALLY neat. I'll have to take a picture of some of them tomorrow, but I was curious if anybody has ever heard of them. A lot of the pages have ribbons that stick out over the size of the pages, so when closed, the bag has many ribbons sticking out all over, but it looks really great (she sticks to a color scheme, so most of the ribbons match so it doesn't look gaudy). Very unique.

That sounds very interesting. I'd love to see one of your completed projects. Great idea!

This post is worthless without a picture. I'm a visual person and I can't picture it from your description. Obviously, I've never made one.
