Where do you buy your fabric? I have been getting mine at Walmart, but the one in my neck of the woods doesn't have much of a selection. I like to use the flannel fabric for the blankets that I make to make them toasty warm.
Just wondering??? I was planning on hitting Jo-Ann Fabrics sometime in the future once we get out of the red in the checkbook here. I think I am going to make a bunch of those blankets for Christmas presents next year.

Most of mine came from Walmart or Jo-Ann. I did get some at Hobby Lobby too though.
ETA: I also ordered some through hancockfabrics.com becaus emy local store didn't have as much as I needed.

i have bought at Hancock fabrics, jo-ann, and walmart. i think the best deals i have found though, were on ebay, but it's worth to compare prices before bidding.

Thanks for your input! I am not much for shopping online, though. I feel the need to be able to actually touch the fabric before buying, just to make sure it is the softness that I want.

Angie - what i have done is go to the store after seeing something on ebay and first off... comparing prices and second seeing if it was what i wanted. i agree, it's hard to tell if you like a fabric online.

Well generally I try to avoid shopping in WalMart but that is usually where I go. It's really close and has a big selection. I rationalize supporting them but thinking of the gas I save by not driving to JoAnns which is further away. I have also bought fabric at JoAnns and Hancock. I don't know if we even have Hancock here, though...
I think last time I bought fabric at JoAnns was when I made bedding for the baby's room... and they pissed me off because they wouldn't cut it for me! I don't mean they wouldn't cut the pattern out, I mean, like, they wouldn't break it down into 2 yards, 6 yards, etc. I boycotted them for a long time but I had to relax that boycott because they have a good yarn and knitting needle selection, LOL
I am too lazy to internet shop much.

JoAnns if quite a distance from me, but if you seen the selection at the Walmart close to me, you would see it was probably worth it to go for the drive... They only have about 6-10 different patterns in flannel, and even those are going pretty fast.
